There is a rhythm in the making and the result is that each one is slightly different - the result of slow craft, made one at a time. Jamie offers a range of twine colours and heirloom quality hand brooms using earth-born materials, keeping sustainability at the heart of her practice. With proper care, these brooms and brushes will last a lifetime and beyond. Jamie is a British-American who has called the UK home since 2007. She is inspired by the folklore, flora and fauna of the British countryside - a completely different environment from the Rocky Mountains and the wind swept prairies of Montana. However, nearly 20 years in, the UK has enabled a creative life she could never have imagined as a child. Bristol Broomworks is the meeting place of both of these magical worlds.
