Traditions and Christmas go hand in hand, from putting up the tree and hanging up the stockings on December 1st, to watching The Polar Express on Christmas Eve (and everything in between)
We would like to introduce you to a brand new tradition, our self fill Stocking Advent Calendar. We think this is a perfect way to get the whole family into the Christmas spirit on December 1st.
The Stocking has all the Christmas feels with it's red candy stripes. Inside are 24 beautifully wrapped Christmas Humbugs that you have filled to help countdown to Christmas. But the fun doesn't stop on Christmas Eve. The stocking maybe empty but now it awaits Santa's visit to refill it ready for Christmas Morning.
Included are 24 candy striped and red fabric wraps each printed with the numbers 1-24. Once you have filled the tins with treats, wrap each one in the fabric to turn them into Christmas Humbugs.
These treats can be as simple or as grand as you like - from handwritten messages, and activities planned, to badges, and sweets. Maybe number 24 could contain something a little more special such as a small piece of jewellery? It can be just as much fun to fill as it is to open!
Simply spend an evening filling the Christmas humbugs, and pop them all in the stocking. Hang it up alongside all your other decorations on December 1st and let the fun begin. On Christmas eve, the last Christmas Humbug will be opened and the stocking will be ready and awaiting Santa's arrival.
This Stocking Advent Calendar can be used year after year. Who knows maybe one day you will be filling this for your Grandchildren.
Don't be fooled into thinking the fun is just reserved for kids. Can you imagine the look on your partner's face, when they see this Stocking Advent Calendar filled for them. You could fill it with an Infusion Kit to make your own Mulled Wine, a boozy chocolate, a Christmas scented wax melt, mini marshmallows with a note for a date night with hot chocolates looking at the stars or tickets to see It's a Wonderful Life at the cinema.
The stocking is aprox 22cm wide x 53cm tall.
Each tin inside the humbugs are 55mm x 45mm x 10mm
Included is a drawstring bag so that the stocking, fabric wraps, tins and ribbon can all be kept together ready for next Christmas.
Please note this is a self fill advent calendar, so the fillings in the photos are not included.
