’The Last of Summer' is a print celebrating the change in season; seed heads forming and summer blooms dying back as the garden readies itself for autumn.
In a nod to the summer skies, each of the edition of 30 has been hand-burnished in a process blue ink onto beautiful handmade paper.
The printed image measures approximately 20x30cm with the paper measuring approximately 28x39.5cm.
The print is on a beautiful 'Hosho' paper from Japan.
Each print has been signed and numbered and being printed onto a handmade surface, slight variations from print to print will occur. This is all part of the individual beauty of a handcrafted piece.
The print will be posted wrapped in tissue and rolled within a tube. On its arrival, please remove it from the tube and allow it time to unfurl. Lying the print on a flat surface under a heavy book may speed up the process - please do not be tempted to roll the print in the opposite way, as this will almost certainly result in creasing and possibly damaging the print.
