Art by Jay

Art by Jay is a British wildlife art studio based in Surrey, specialising in highly detailed coloured pencil drawings inspired by quiet moments in nature.

Each piece begins as a hand-drawn original, created slowly and intentionally to capture the character, emotion and lifelike presence of British wildlife - from watchful garden birds to gentle countryside animals. My work is inspired by the peaceful connection we feel when slowing down outdoors, and is designed to bring that same calm, cosy atmosphere into the home.

Alongside original artworks, I offer carefully produced limited edition prints and homeware pieces, including mugs and gifts created for nature lovers and thoughtful gift-giving.

My aim is simple: to create artwork that feels meaningful, timeless and quietly beautiful - something that settles naturally into a space and becomes part of everyday life.

All work is created in the UK, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail and emotional storytelling.

Whether you’re creating a calm corner at home, searching for a meaningful gift, or simply drawn to the beauty of wildlife, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
