Katherine Bree Jewellery

I’m Katherine Bree, a jewellery designer based in London. I’ve been creative all my life. After completing a Textile Design BSc(H) and working as a knitwear designer I also started making jewellery. In January 2000 I was approached by Liberty London to create a small jewellery collection for them, which is when I started my own business.

I’m a bit of a magpie when it comes to gemstone beads, and I source my materials from trusted suppliers, gem fairs and vintage shops. I particularly love organically shaped and raw gemstones, juxtaposing these with simple shapes to highlight their beauty.

I create collections around colour stories and it is important to me that each collection has a narrative. I would describe my jewellery as eclectic, asymmetric and colourful.

Everything is handmade by me in my London studio. I do make repeats of designs, but because I work with naturally shaped stones, no two pieces are ever quite the same. I can also create bespoke pieces if you’re looking for something special.

You can find my jewellery in galleries and shops around the UK. Over the years, my pieces have also been stocked by places including the British Museum shop, Liberty, Selfridges, the Victoria & Albert Museum shop and the Tate Britain shop.
