Lumber Lab

Lumber Lab is the realisation of a lifelong dream to run my own joinery workshop.

Nestled in my quiet corner of South East Cornwall, I work to design and make unique, high quality products from sustainable materials for the home and garden.I’m happy to take custom requests - if you’d like something a different size, shape, colour of finish - just let me know and I’ll see what I can do!I‘m passionate about the environment and operate in the most eco-friendly way possible. All of the wood I use is sustainably grown annd FSC certified, and my investment in the latest tools allows me make full use of each piece of timber so there is minimal waste.

The workshop runs on 100% solar power, and to further lessen any impact on the planet I’ve partnered with a company to plant one tree for every item sold in our shop. Some of my earliest memories are helping my grandad make dollhouses in his shed, and I knew from an early age that’s what I wanted to do! I struggled at school due to being dyslexic, but loved college where I completed my carpentry apprenticeship. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love every day.
