Puddle & Pepper

Puddle & Pepper is a small family business rooted in the Monmouthshire & Herefordshire countryside and inspired by the garden of my late grandmother. Her thoughtful planting over forty years continues to flourish today, providing many of the botanicals that I lovingly incorporate into my products.

What began during maternity leave as a personal quest to create gentle soap for my family’s sensitive, eczema-prone skin has blossomed into a business built on care, craftsmanship, and connection to the land. Each bar of soap is handcrafted using all-natural ingredients for a nourishing, creamy lather. Where possible, I source ingredients locally — including honey soaps, made with local Herefordshire and Monmouthshire Honey's, The fresh goats’ milk in my soaps, which comes from Oh My Goat, a farm just down the road where my soaps are now proudly stocked in their farm shop.

Alongside my soaps, I create hand-poured soy wax candles and melts, infused with botanicals and inspired by the countryside I love. Each scent tells a story — from Countryside Cottage, reminiscent of the comfort of a rural home, to Bluebell Woods, inspired by the magical springtime walk through the bluebell woods on the Kymin in Monmouthshire.
