Samla Home
Hi, I’m Jenny and I started Samla Home in 2026, handcrafting textile wall art in my Lincolnshire studio. Textiles is my passion, using beautiful natural, sustainable fabrics to create nature inspired artworks with a contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic, connecting nature and home.
Samla Home collections reflect a pared back minimal aesthetic, and a Nordic inspired palette, taking inspiration from treasures gathered from country and coast. Featuring textural, layered organic shapes and patterns bring a sense of quiet calm and a feeling of sanctuary to your home.
My background is in textiles, fashion (including sustainable sourcing) and interior design, which led to Samla Home. Often not the easiest, fastest or most inexpensive but I believe in sustainable sourcing and choosing quality over quantity.
A focus on slow considered design, each piece in the collection has been handcrafted using a carefully curated selection of the finest, predominantly European, 100% linen fabrics and organic cotton threads. All paper and wood elements are sourced from sustainably managed forests with FSC or PEFC certification. I use only water based and plant based environmentally friendly paints for my hand painted frames. Packaging is recycled, recyclable and where new, FCS certified.
