Sea to Sky Silver Jewellery
I love making silver jewellery using fine silver clay which is an ethical, sustainable choice for jewellery as it is made from recycled silver sourced from things such as x-rays and electrical components. It's a magical process which involves firing with a torch or a kiln to sinter the metal particles into solid silver. There is very little waste as the silver can be recycled at any stage of the making process. It is 99.9% pure silver so it does not tarnish as quickly as sterling silver. Fine silver is hallmarkable quality but items do not need to be hallmarked if they weigh less than 7.78g. Some pieces under 7.78g will bear a hallmark but not all.
My work is inspired by the natural world and living by the sea gives me inspiration to create pieces using natural, organic shapes and textures so my creations have a connection to the seaside or the countryside, be it the colours, the textures or the materials.
Everything is handcrafted in my small home studio in Southsea; many of my pieces are unique and they all come in beautiful eco friendly packaging ready to gift.
UK mainland postage is included for all orders.
