Ailsa Black

Ailsa Black is a Scottish artist inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and everyday characters of rural life. From her studio beside the Solway coast in Dumfries & Galloway, Ailsa creates colourful, characterful paintings filled with curious cows, faithful dogs, garden birds, windswept cottages and glimpses of life by the sea.

Alongside her original paintings, Ailsa’s distinctive artwork is reproduced across a carefully chosen collection of prints, cards, stationery and homewares. Warm, uplifting and unmistakenly Scottish, each piece brings a wee bit of countryside and coast into the home.
