A Breath-taking Fusion of Patterned Mappa Burr and Deep Forest Green Resin
Hand-turned in our Yorkshire workshop, this tactile wooden kitchen accessory captures a beautiful contrast between natural, textured timber and rich, translucent colour. The unique, clustered eyes of the pale Mappa burr blend seamlessly with the deep forest green resin, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of functional wood art with immediate visual impact.
Mappa burr is highly prized by collectors for its extraordinary, tight knot patterns and creamy golden tones. The wood is expertly cast and stabilised with resin, then carefully turned on the lathe to a sleek 300mm profile. We finish each mill with 15 meticulous coats of hand-polished, high-gloss polyurethane varnish to ensure an exceptionally durable and lustrous surface.
Arriving in an elegant black magnetic presentation box, this resin and wood pepper grinder is the perfect meaningful handmade gift for special occasions, or a luxurious upgrade for foodies and chefs. It is fitted with a professional-quality, American-crafted hardened stainless steel grinder mechanism with traditional top adjustment, ensuring a flawless grind that is guaranteed by the manufacturer for a lifetime.

The Nature of Burr Wood I work with natural materials. Please note that burr wood is famous for its wild, swirling grain, natural inclusions, and small voids. These are not defects; they are the character marks of the tree and part of the beauty of a handmade item. Your piece may vary slightly in grain pattern from the photos, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
Damaged or Defective Items I pack everything securely, but accidents can happen in transit. If your item arrives damaged, please send me a photo within 48 hours of delivery, and I will arrange a replacement or refund immediately.
Privacy Policy I will only use your shipping and billing address, and contact information, to communicate with you about your order and to fulfil your order.
