An Exquisite Meeting of Pale Burr and Coastal Turquoise
Bringing a splash of vibrant energy to your dining table, this artisan woodturning pepper mill is a masterclass in texture and colour. The pale, creamy tones of the natural timber are suspended within a glass-like turquoise resin, making this tactile wooden kitchen accessory an instant conversation starter.
A unique wooden gift for foodies
Mappa burr is a fascinating timber, defined by its unpredictable clusters of tiny knots and wild grain. Working with this specific piece in my UK studio, I stabilised the delicate burr with premium resin before mounting it on the lathe. Turning it down to a tall, elegant 300mm profile requires absolute precision, culminating in 15 layers of hand-buffed polyurethane varnish for an enduring, high-gloss finish.
Why This Premium Resin and Wood Spice Grinder Makes the Perfect Gift
More than just a modern rustic home décor piece, this resin and wood pepper grinder is engineered for daily culinary use. It serves as a phenomenal luxury handcrafted gift idea UK for a milestone event or a highly unique wooden gift for foodies. The mill houses an American-made, hardened stainless steel mechanism, offering fully adjustable, professional-grade grinding.
