Sweet peas hold a special place in British hearts, and carving their delicate ruffled petals in my Norfolk studio felt like honouring generations of gardeners. These romantic climbers represent everything I love about our cottage garden heritage - beauty that's meant to be shared, joy that grows more abundant with giving.
From Scottish countryside childhood to Norfolk hedgerows, flowers like sweet peas have been my constant companions - familiar friends that reveal new beauty with every season. They're not exotic or demanding, just reliably wonderful, scattering their perfume and encouraging us to pause, appreciate, share.
