A dress designed with versatility in mind. To be worn on its own or layered. The scooped neckline has a lovely little collar detail. This empire line dress has gathers at the centre front and back only. The sides are gently flared for a flattering silhouette. Fastens edge to edge with self fabric loops and vintage mother of pearl buttons. Deep inseam pockets come as standard for all your bits and bobs. Handmade in our studio so each garment is unique. Made using sustainable European linen and GOTS certified dyes.

A ribbon is inserted in every Withnell garment and we embroider your name. Each garment comes with a unique repair kit for any everyday wear and tear.
Our suppliers have been carefully selected for their sustainability and eco-friendliness. Our materials and trims are made from natural materials and are all recyclable at the end of their hopefully long life. We send our orders in biodegradable and home recyclable packaging.
Fabric and Care
100% laundered linen. This linen is Oeko-Tex certified. The dyes used on this cloth are GOTS certified. The fabric supplier is a member of the European Flax-Linen and Hemp alliance.
Cool wash, shake and hang to dry. Warm iron as required. Linen will always seize after washing but once you start to wear it again it will soon soften.
