A richly decorative textile hanging featuring a Blackbird and Wren nestled in a tangle of hedgerow. This piece has a sculpted, raised quality in its layered fabrics, giving it a quilted, relief-like feel. Nothing here is straight or rigid – the composition leans into a gentle, off‑kilter folk‑art character, full of colour, pattern and movement.
Built as a mixed‑textile collage, it carries echoes of medieval tapestry in its dense detailing and decorative motifs.
