As this tote is made from lightweight hessian with an interfaced cream lining, it is not as heavy-duty as traditional thick jute tote bags. The interfaced lining provides structure and a neat finish but is not designed for carrying very heavy loads. It is best suited to everyday use with light to medium-weight items.
