A beautiful box frame containing an angelic depiction of a cat handmade in porcelain. This item can be personalised and would make a lovely and very special celebration of a much-loved pet.
The frame can be hung or free-standing so can be placed anywhere in the home.
Each angelic cat is handmade in porcelain by artist Sarah Rickard. A little star is added to the collar and the details are hand-painted in black slip. Gold lustre is painted on to give a beautiful shiny gold accent to the piece. This would make a wonderful gift to celebrate and remember a special furry friend.
The frame arrives beautifully gift-wrapped in teal tissue with gold ribbon. A gift message can be added.
Dimensions The frame measures 27 cm x 27 cm x 6 cm deep. The mount opening measures 12 cm x 12 cm.
Additional Information The frame will arrive fully assembled and ready to display. A high-quality acrylic alternative to glass will be placed at the front of the frame as this avoids any problems with breakages during shipping. The mount is acid-free and therefore won’t discolour and the porcelain cat is attached to high-quality archival paper. Shipping is free and in-stock items will be sent out within 7 working days of the order being placed.
My name is Sarah Rickard and I run a decorative ceramics business from my garden studio in rural East Sussex.

My name is Sarah Rickard and I run a decorative ceramics business from my garden studio in rural East Sussex.
After gaining a degree in Contemporary Craft where I specialised in ceramics and textiles, I set up my first studio and have worked as an artist, ceramicist and illustrator ever since. After having children I concentrated on creating my current collection of decorative, illustrative pieces which have a strong basis in drawing and painting which I believe sets my work apart.
My work is inspired by a reverence and deep love of nature. I see the natural world as full of magic and wonder and aim to express how I feel through my pieces.
My ceramics are mainly slab built and largely wall hung although my work is always changing and developing. I use white earthenware and porcelain and decorate by hand using coloured slips and oxides. I also apply transfers created from my drawings and gold lustre on some pieces.
I always tell people that I don’t make anything useful but I hope that people find my work beautiful!
