Romanesque heavy bezel cushion cut Rhodolite garnet ring - from my Jewel Garden collection. This gorgeous one-of-a-kind ring borrows design features from the jewellery of Ancient Rome in a lightweight contemporary style.
Garnet is January’s birthstone. This is a Rhodolite garnet which typically exhibits grape or raspberry colours in place of the usual brownish red. there are a number of alternative natural coloured garnets available such as Hessonite - an orange brown, Tsavorite - a chrome green, amongst others.
Garnet was historically worn as a protective talisman against physical dangers and negative energies. It is thought to boost physical energy, circulation, inspire courage and balance the emotions
The rhodolite garnet is a cushion cut 6mm square cabochon.
