Beautifully bespoke handmade lampshades
At Rixham Jones Interiors, every lampshade is individually handcrafted with care, creativity and attention to detail. As each piece is made to order, we want you to feel confident in your purchase and understand our policies regarding orders, payments, shipping and returns.
Ordering
- Each lampshade is made by hand to your specifications.
- Please check all measurements, fabric choices and fitting types (pendant or table) carefully before confirming your order.
- Once an order has been confirmed, changes can only be made within 24 hours of purchase.
Processing Time
- Standard lead time for bespoke lampshades is 2–4 weeks, depending on current order volume.
- If you require your order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of ordering.
- Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery & Collection
- UK delivery is available via tracked courier.
- Local collection can be arranged from our studio at The West Retford Hall or The Hummingbird Collective, Retford.
- You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched, including tracking information where applicable.
Packaging
- Each lampshade is carefully wrapped in protective packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
- We use sustainable and recyclable materials wherever possible.
Returns & Refunds
Because each lampshade is handmade to order, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.
If your order arrives damaged:
- Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damage and packaging.
- We will arrange a replacement or refund once the issue has been reviewed.
For non-bespoke or “ready-to-buy” lampshades, returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
Cancellations
- Bespoke orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After this time, materials may already have been prepared and work begun, so cancellation may not be possible.
Colour & Fabric Variations
Due to the handmade nature of our products and the characteristics of natural fabrics, slight variations in colour, pattern placement, or texture may occur. These are not considered faults but part of the beauty of handcrafted design.
