A machine embroidered interpretation of Sycamore Gap on a lantern. This iconic view is stitched on a neutral felt background using a colour thread of your choice to stitch the design.
After hearing the devastating news about the felling of this beautiful tree I knew I just had to stitch it. The Sycamore tree known as ‘Sycamore Gap’ was standing next to Hadrian’s Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland, it won tree of the year in 2016 and sadly it was felled on the 28th September 2023.
Each lantern has my unique machine embroidered signature on the design.
The lantern comes with a tea light, please only use battery operated tea lights or fairy lights in the lantern and no naked flame.
Delivery - I post using Royal Mail, each piece is wrapped carefully using tissue and corrugated cardboard, if I need to use bubble wrap it will be recycled.
Each of my lampshades are made to order, therefore you can request if you would like it to be a table shade or a ceiling shade. If no request is made on payment then I will automatically make it up as a table shade.
