Mooi Jewellery

I’m Charlene, the maker behind Mooi Jewellery, creating handcrafted sterling silver jewellery from my studio in North East England.

My collections are a fusion of minimal and organic design, inspired by the ever-changing beauty of nature, particularly my local coastline. I work primarily with recycled Sterling and Argentium silver, slowly melting, moulding, fusing and texturing the metal by hand to create organic, wearable forms that echo the landscape, shifting tides and textures of the shore.

Sustainability is at the heart of my practice. I work exclusively with recycled precious metals and, in selected designs, incorporate sea glass and pebbles. I take a considered, slow approach to making, creating pieces with care for both the craft and the environment.

Many of my designs are one of a kind, each carrying its own quiet narrative shaped by place and process. If you’re looking for something truly personal, bespoke commissions are also welcome.
