A simple cuff bracelet with an iconic and timeless design.
Before becoming known as Paisley, this design originated in ancient Persia over 2,000 years ago. From there it spread to India, flourishing during the Mughal Empire, particularly in the Kashmir region, inspiring famous cashmere and pashmina shawls which were imported to Paisley in Scotland (where it got its famous name) before becoming the symbol for the 1960s psychedelic rock movement.
This lovingly handcrafted, embossed and patinated cuff is made from recycled sterling silver. A vintage, handcrafted embossing plate was used to impart the design.
Width 18mm
Oval, open cuff design
