This leather journal is hand made by a family run workshop in Florence, using traditional book making methods, natural dyes and locally sourced acid-free paper.
The artwork on the title page was originally drawn with a dip pen and ink and is printed onto British-made paper. The printed piece is hand painted with watercolour and gold metallic paint. The finished piece is soft which shimmers slightly. The artwork has torn edges and is adhered to the page with Conservation tape.
