There’s something deeply calming about watching wildlife go about its everyday routines. These small, unguarded moments often pass unnoticed, yet they hold so much character and quiet beauty.
This painting was created using a combination of gouache and watercolour, allowing me to build soft, layers while still keeping a sense of lightness and movement. Fine liner was added to define details and bring clarity to the hare’s features. This balance between loose washes and precise line work is something I’m continually drawn to in my practice.
