There's a difference between a jumper knitted by machine in minutes and one built stitch by stitch, by hand, over days — and it shows. This piece belongs to Shooshon's Rhodope Winters collection, its yoke worked in a geometric pattern drawn from the folk knitting of Bulgaria's mountain villages, where such motifs were once a mother's or grandmother's signature stitched into a child's clothes.
The wool itself is 100% merino, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for babies' sensitive skin, and prized for a property synthetic fibres simply can't replicate: it self-regulates temperature, keeping a little one snug in the cold without trapping heat. Wear it as the outer layer over a shirt for daytime warmth, or on its own indoors.
Because the knit has give built in, the same jumper tends to fit comfortably across a wider stretch of growth than a woven garment would — practical reassurance for parents who don't want to be back at the shops every few months. It also pairs naturally with the rest of the Rhodope Winters range for a coordinated cold-weather look.
Every piece comes from a small production run, hand-finished by women artisans in Bulgaria, so no two jumpers are exactly alike — a quiet mark of authenticity that mass production can't fake.
Care: cold hand or delicate wool-cycle wash (max 30°C). Dry flat.
Craft & Dispatch
Each Shooshon piece is handcrafted in small batches by skilled women artisans using traditional techniques and certified natural fibres.
Ready-to-ship items are dispatched within 2–4 working days.

Delivery
All UK orders are sent via a fully tracked delivery service.
Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days following dispatch.
Should you require expedited delivery, please contact us prior to purchase and we will endeavour to accommodate your request where possible.
Returns
We hope your Shooshon piece becomes something to treasure. However, should you wish to return an item, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be:
• Unworn
• In original condition
• With tags and packaging intact
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of receiving and inspecting the return.
For hygiene reasons, certain accessories may be exempt from return unless faulty.
Faults or Concerns
Every garment is carefully inspected prior to dispatch. In the unlikely event that your order arrives with a fault, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery, including photographs, and we will resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Care
Shooshon garments are created using natural fibres and traditional techniques. To preserve their beauty and longevity, we recommend gentle hand washing or a delicate wool cycle at low temperature, and drying flat.
With thoughtful care, each piece is designed to be worn, loved and passed on.
