Hedgehogs peek out from the hand-crocheted detailing on this piece — the kind of characterful touch that makes a child want to show it off rather than just wear it. Finished with a snug hood and wooden buttons, and crocheted in a really thick, substantial stitch, it works as genuine outerwear rather than a light layer to tuck under a coat.
The wool comes from a collaboration with local Bulgarian farmers and is left almost entirely as nature made it — no harsh chemical processing, just the essential mechanical steps needed to bring out its natural loft and durability.
Warm enough to wear as a standalone jacket through early spring and late autumn, and suited to milder winter days too. When it's properly cold, it layers easily as a cardigan underneath something heavier — but on its own, it does the job of a proper coat, so use your judgement on the day.
Every piece is hand-crocheted in small batches by women artisans in Bulgaria, so slight variations from one to the next are part of the charm rather than a flaw — proof of a garment made by hand, not machine.
Care: hand wash only, cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C), mild wool detergent. Do not tumble dry. Specialist dry cleaning recommended for long-term care.

Delivery
All UK orders are sent via a fully tracked delivery service.
Estimated delivery: 3–5 working days following dispatch.

Returns
We hope your Shooshon piece becomes something to treasure. However, should you wish to return an item, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be:
• Unworn
• In original condition
• With tags and packaging intact
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of receiving and inspecting the return.
For hygiene reasons, certain accessories may be exempt from return unless faulty.
Faults or Concerns
Every garment is carefully inspected prior to dispatch. In the unlikely event that your order arrives with a fault, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery, including photographs, and we will resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
Care
Shooshon garments are created using natural fibres and traditional techniques. To preserve their beauty and longevity, we recommend gentle hand washing or a delicate wool cycle at low temperature, and drying flat.
With thoughtful care, each piece is designed to be worn, loved and passed on.
