The Dorothy peplum blouse is a contemporary easy to wear favourite. Featuring a soft luxury needlecord with a gathered peplum that sits on the high hip. A versatile blouse with plenty of fullness. Wear on its own or as a casual jacket anytime from day through to evening with this timeless comfortable style. 100% cotton corduroy. The corozo buttons are made from the natural tagoa nut.
Model is 170cm a UK size 16 and is wearing a size 3.
The Story
A version of the Dorothy dress and named after my mum. Born in Withnell during a period when clothing was valued, looked after and garment repair was seen as part of the journey. She always loved a practical shirt dress. In fact, if it wasn't practical, she wouldn't entertain it. This style is based on our Dorothy dress. No other style but a shirt dress could honour the memory of Dorothy.

A ribbon is inserted in every Withnell garment and we embroider your name. Each garment comes with a unique repair kit for any everyday wear and tear.
Our suppliers have been carefully selected for their sustainability and eco-friendliness. Our materials and trims are made from natural materials and are all recyclable at the end of their hopefully long life. We send our orders in biodegradable and home recyclable packaging.
Fabric and Care
100% cotton corduroy OEKO TEX certified. Cool wash and hang to dry. Iron as required. We recommend ironing corduroy on the reverse to preserve the pile.
