About The Bar
Cocoa trees grow wild and naturally in the Peruvian Amazon. These beans have a strong chocolate flavour and sweet acidity predominant in citrus fruits, mangos and plumes that give long-lasting chocolate notes. Then paired with full cream from Irish milk and unrefined sugar gives a lovely sweet finish. This dark milk is a great bridge for milk and dark chocolate it is creamy like milk chocolate but has got plenty of flavour like a really good single-origin dark chocolate. If you are new to the fine dark chocolate scene then this is a great place to start
The Process
All our chocolate is stone ground for at least 2 days in small 10kg batches. This allows us to get the perfect smooth texture and flavour. It’s not the easy way but it’s our way and we love it
All our cocoa is sourced from organic fair-trade farms. We believe in giving a fair price for our cocoa
These products are truly handmade, we do not use any machines for tempering, moulding, or wrapping. Due to this, there will be some occasional marks on the products from the heat of our hands when pressing the foil. We do wear gloves, but it can sometimes show. However, we believe this is part of the Artisan charm
