Despite its name, this stone isn’t found in the Amazon basin but is mined in other parts of Brazil, North America, Australia and Madagascar.
A dreamy blue-green in colour, amazonite is said to have a calming effect on the nervous system.
The pendant is 15mm x 20mm including the bale on a belcher chain 45 cm long with a front fastening hand crafted toggle.
