Carole Morgan Hopkin was invited to visit this extraordinary garden which was designed by Tony Duquette, a famous Hollyowod set-designer. She loved the theatricality of the place. Monty Don featured it in his 'American Gardens' programme. The house is called Dawn Ridge.

ALL WATERCOLOURS BEGUN ON LOCATION AND COMPLETED IN MY STUDIO. THE DRAWINGS AND COLOUR NOTES WERE DONE WHEN I LIVED IN LOS ANGELES.
