The Brittany Beach project features appliqué and embroidery, using soft, summery linens, gorgeous DMC embroidery threads, natural textures and botanical details, all inspired by a gentle trip to the coast.

The linens are layered using a simple appliqué technique, then the beautiful fennel, oxeye daisy, seashell, seagull and lighthouse details are embroidered on top. This is a really satisfying process, in which you can follow the instructions exactly, or place your own stitches as you please.
