Cotswold Hare Hand Painted Wood Art

I founded Liz Corley Art after moving from London in 2006 and was inspired by the beautiful Cotswold countryside on walks with my Labradors and children.

I am based just outside of Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds; creating artwork of British wildlife and nature brings me huge joy and I have developed a range of homeware products, gifts, and accessories featuring my original artwork.

I love the texture and warmth of wood and so have created a unique collection of hand painted wood art, tea light holders, platters and chopping boards that celebrate nature bringing the wood to life with whimsical art that captures the essence of our country living.

All the artwork on the wood products is painted by myself for a totally personal touch.

I am keen to preserve our countryside for future generations and so have ensured LCA products are environmentally friendly wherever possible, with reclaimed and locally sourced wood from an independent family run sawmill using wind fallen oak, and bamboo being used for sustainability.

The wood artwork uses reclaimed wood, meaning the artwork is both kind to the environment and beautifully rustic. Each piece is handmade, and we treat the wood artwork with a special environmentally friendly varnish that protects it from inclement weather, allowing the wood artwork to be hung outside all year round.

I am very proud to say Liz Corley Art was a finalist in the 2021 Blenheim Palace start up competition for entrepreneurs with my unique wood artwork.
