The golden eagle is interpreted in dimensional layers of fabric. This soft, lightweight brooch brings the character of a bird of prey to an everyday accessory.
Created in Vikki Lafford Garside’s studio in Witney, Oxfordshire. Layers of fabric are machine embroidered and hand painted to build a three-dimensional effect. Soft felt backs the reverse and sealed edges help prevent fraying. The result is lightweight, soft and flexible.
It can be pinned to a favourite coat, cardigan, scarf or bag for a little bird-inspired detail.
Each piece is individually made; small variations in colour, stitching and painted detail are part of its character.
