A little ladybird becomes a playful textile accent for a lapel or bag. Fabric, thread and painted detail recreate the garden insect in a light brooch.
Created in Vikki Lafford Garside’s studio in Witney, Oxfordshire. Fabric and thread create a lightweight, flexible accessory with plenty of detail. Hand-painted detail completes the finish.
It can be pinned to a blouse, jacket, coat or bag for an unusual nature-inspired finishing touch.
Each piece is individually made; small variations in colour, stitching and painted detail are part of its character.
