The Peacock butterfly's distinctive eye markings are the focus of this embroidered brooch. Russet tones with splashes of yellow and blue give its wings a rich finish.
Created in Vikki Lafford Garside’s studio in Witney, Oxfordshire. Machine embroidery and hand painting bring the wing markings to life in a decorative textile design.
It can be pinned to a dress, jacket, scarf or hat for a butterfly accent. It can also decorate a cushion or curtain.
Each piece is individually made; small variations in colour, stitching and painted detail are part of its character.
