A Purple Emperor butterfly becomes a small textile pendant on a delicate sterling silver chain. Carefully worked detail brings a natural focal point to the neckline.
Created in Vikki Lafford Garside’s studio in Witney, Oxfordshire. The fabric pendant is machine embroidered and hand painted, with sealed edges to help prevent fraying and a soft ultrasuede backing. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain and bail.
The pendant sits beautifully against a simple neckline.
Each piece is individually made; small variations in colour, stitching and painted detail are part of its character.
Details - Butterfly wingspan: 35 mm. - Materials: ultrasuede, sterling silver. - Sterling silver chain: choice of 16 or 18 inches. - Pendant position: hang from centre or hang from wing. - Packaging: sturdy gift box.
