A compact sunflower adds a bright floral detail to a jacket, dress or hat. The 5 cm textile brooch combines layers of satin, velvet, embroidery and hand painted colour to create a wealth of luxurious detail in a small, decorative flower.
Created in Vikki Lafford Garside’s studio in Witney, Oxfordshire. Machine embroidery, hand embellishment and painted detail add texture and colour to the fabric flower.
It can be pinned to a dress, coat, jacket or hat to bring floral detail to your outfit.
Each piece is individually made; small variations in colour, stitching and painted detail are part of its character.
