It's hand-knitted, stitch by stitch, by women artisans in Bulgaria, in small runs rather than mass batches.
The yarn is 100% merino, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, chosen for how gently it sits against a baby's skin. Worked in a thick knit, it's genuinely warm — a proper cold-weather layer rather than a light cardigan for indoors, and ideal over a bodysuit or long-sleeve top for outdoor play through autumn and into winter.
