Light, expressive and full of movement, the hummingbird is a symbol of joy and energy - beautifully captured in this handcrafted cushion.
Made to order in my Somerset studio, the design is built up using raw edge appliqué, layering carefully selected fabrics to create a sense of texture and gentle motion. A combination of vintage, scrap and new textiles gives each piece individuality, with subtle differences that reflect the nature of slow, handmade work.
This cushion brings a sense of freshness and life to a space, working equally well in relaxed country homes or more modern interiors. Thoughtfully made and rich in detail, it’s a piece designed to be enjoyed every day.
