CAROLE MORGANHOPKIN'S unigue and original watercolour shows the artist Chagall and his wife in a Paris cafe. His work has proved an inspiration for many artists over the years, but this shows how important his wife was to his prolific output. Carole chose to work from this photograph and has enhanced his protective arm around his wife and their closeness in exile from Russia. It is drawn in pen and ink with additions of watercolour washes.
