A blanket is one of those things every baby ends up with a dozen of — this one is designed to be the one that actually gets kept. Hand-knitted in a breathable honeycomb stitch, it's soft enough for skin-to-skin naps and open enough in structure to let air circulate, so it doesn't trap heat the way a denser weave might.
The yarn is GOTS and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified organic cotton, chosen specifically for how gently it sits against newborn skin, with a clean trim finishing the edge for a look that suits any nursery rather than one particular colour scheme. At 80cm × 80cm, it's sized for pram outings, crib layering, and those early weeks of naps that happen wherever the baby happens to fall asleep.
Made slowly by skilled artisans rather than on a production line, it's built to be washed and used often — not treated as too precious to actually use — and to still be worth keeping once the baby stage has passed.
Care: machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Avoid soaking. Reshape and dry flat.
