I create my abstract collages using watercolour and incorporate real pressed leaves and flowers from my garden.
I take inspiration from the surrounding countryside and am always taking photos. The flowers take around 2 weeks to press then I can start to think about compostion.

Each collage is different making them unique, this piece is called 'Blue Skies' and contains individual Cow Parsley flowers, Eucalyptus, sage, and a tiny Pussy Willow leaf. The hill in the background is a Photonia leaf commonly known as Red Robin.

Each collage is 4x4 inches and is on 230 gsm watercolour paper presented in a white 8x8 mount. Frame shown on the images is for display only and not included. I will use Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for delivery. To preserve the colour avoid prolonged direct sunlight and high humidity. Colour changes over time are all a natural part of botanical art.
