A simple cuff bracelet with an iconic and timeless design.
Before becoming know by the name Paisley, this design originated in ancient Persia over 2,000 years ago, from where it spread to India, flourishing during the Mughal Empire, particularly in the Kashmir region, inspiring famous cashmere and pashmina shawls which were imported to Scotland (where it got its famous name)before becoming the symbol for the 1960s psychedelic rock movement.
This lovingly hand crafted, embossed and patinated cuff is made from recycled sterling silver. A vintage, hand crafted embossing plate was used to impart the design.
