Beach themed shell art handcrafted from white porcelain. Each coastal themed ceramic wall decor is a unique & one off piece of art.
Shells collected on my local beach form the templates for creating the porcelain shells. Each shell is hand crafted from porcelain clay which are fired in the kiln. The individual shells are then hand painted and decorated. When complete the porcelain shells are then assembled and mounted in a white frame to create a unique piece of wall art.
The inspiration for my wall art comes from the beach and sea near my home in Rye in East Sussex. The colours of the sea which can change by the day and even the hour are reflected in the colours which I select to decorate the porcelain shells.
This large framed ceramic art includes a fitment on the reverse for hanging on the wall.
