Lydia is a handmade fabric art doll in the Regency style. Her body is made from a cotton fabric and filled with a soft polyester toy filling. Her dress is made from a green cotton material which has a pink and dark green floral design running through it. Her boots are made from a natural linen fabric with brown cotton for the laces.
Lydia's face is carefully hand painted using fabric paints and her dark hair is made from cotton thread. Her hair is plaited into a bun at the back and she has ringlets at either side of her face, with a dark red satin ribbon as decoration in her hair.
Lydia's arms and legs are moveable and she can sit easily but would require support in order to stand independently. She is a bespoke art doll and therefore not suitable for young children.
