Every village in Bulgaria seems to have one — the loyal, unbothered dog who shows up in every family photo without ever quite being anyone's in particular. Sharo takes his name and character from that dog: hand-crocheted, sturdy, and built to be a genuine companion rather than a shelf decoration.
At around 30cm, he's substantial enough to hold real presence in a nursery or a cot, made from Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified merino wool and filled with hypoallergenic silicone fibre rather than anything that might irritate sensitive skin. In early infancy, his textured knit gives little hands something interesting to explore during tummy time and cuddles; as a child grows older, he tends to become something else entirely — a bedtime fixture, a confidant for made-up stories, the one toy that makes every house move.
He's crafted by hand by women artisans in Bulgaria using techniques passed down through generations, in small batches rather than a factory line, with the specific intention that he's never outgrown — only grown into, and eventually handed down.
