An intimate sculptural accent that balances functional utility with quiet artistic drama. Individually hand-formed from premium white stoneware at my Hampshire Downs workbench, this exquisite table vase features a dense, rhythmic herringbone chevron pattern carved entirely by hand into the clay.
The exterior showcases a gentle, weathered wash of soft forget-me-not blue that paths beautifully into the chiseled grooves, accentuating every ridge and casting soft shadows under natural light. This raw, tactile exterior surface yields to a smooth, fully glazed interior. With a thoughtful, low-profile silhouette and an organic, fluidly undulating rim, it is perfectly proportioned to enhance an intimate dinner setting without obstructing the view or your conversation.
A true dual-purpose art object, it functions beautifully holding simple botanical details, then stands completely on its own as a captivating accent piece to anchor a living room fireplace mantle, bedside console, or side table.
- Material: Handmade white stoneware finished with a food-safe, pooling forget-me-not blue interior and exterior glaze wash.
