Hand-Carved Elongated Platter — Sea Green Palm
A striking, vibrant statement piece designed to bring the effortless elegance of slow living straight to your table. Individually hand-formed from premium stoneware at my Hampshire Downs workbench, this elongated oval platter beautifully marries functional utility with high-end sculptural art.
The surface is meticulously hand-carved with an intricate, flowing botanical fan pattern that mirrors coastal palm leaves and raw mountain textures. It is finished with a stunning sea green glaze that pools deeply within the chiseled grooves, creating a captivating play of light, shadow, and deep crystalline color. With its soft, organically undulating rim and narrow footprint, it sits gracefully at the center of a bustling table gathering without crowding your space.
A true dual-purpose design object, this platter serves beautifully during a feast, then stands alone as a permanent piece of art to enhance your kitchen island, dresser, or sideboard between meals.
- Material: Handmade stoneware finished with a food-safe, pooling artisan glaze.
- Design Details: Intricate hand-carved interior relief pattern with an organic oval silhouette.
- Best for: Presenting fresh whole citrus fruits, cured meats, artisan cheeses, long flatbreads, or styling empty as a luxury home decor centerpiece.
- Care: Wash gently by hand to preserve the unique chiseled details and rich glaze finish.
