The Story Behind the Design

I'm Leah, the designer behind Contempfleury. Every illustration begins with flowers that I carefully press and preserve before combining them with hand embroidery using a soft blend of silk and alpaca yarn. Inspired by the British countryside and a love of botanical craft, my work celebrates the joy of flowers, textiles and nature through contemporary illustration.
