KEY INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED:

1. Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: A naturally derived mild surfactant from coconut oil, this ingredient is responsible for cleaning hair by removing excess sebum and dirt, without stripping natural oils.

2. Cocamidopropyl Betaine: Also derived from coconut oil, this mild surfactant helps create foam, effectively cleansing the scalp and hair while maintaining moisture balance.

3. Behentrimonium Methosulfate: A conditioning agent derived from rapeseed and coconut oils. Despite its name, it does not contain sulfates and is known for its detangling and hair-smoothing properties.

4. Cetyl Alcohol & Cetearyl Alcohol: These fatty alcohols, derived from rapeseed and coconut oils, are not drying alcohols like ethanol but are emollients that provide moisturising benefits. They help soften the hair and act as thickeners in the formulation.

5. Coconut Oil: Known for its nourishing properties, coconut oil penetrates the hair shaft to help hydrate and strengthen hair, reducing breakage and adding a healthy shine.

6. Cocoa Butter: Derived from the cocoa bean, this rich butter offers deep moisturisation, helping to make the hair more manageable and less prone to damage.

7. Argan Oil: Extracted from the kernels of the argan tree, this oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E, which help improve hair elasticity and restore shine to dull hair.

8. Olive Oil: Naturally derived from olives, this oil is packed with fatty acids and vitamin E, moisturising hair and improving its strength and shine.

9. Jojoba Oil: Derived from the jojoba plant, this oil closely mimics the natural oils produced by the scalp, helping to balance oil production, moisturise, and protect hair strands.

10. Panthenol (Provitamin B5): This provitamin helps lock in moisture, protect hair from styling and environmental damage, and adds volume and shine.

11. Cosmetic Clay: Used for its gentle cleansing properties, clay helps absorb impurities and excess oil from the scalp without stripping natural oils.

Our Shampoo Bars are pH balanced, so it's gentle on your hair and scalp right from the first use. Unlike soap-based shampoo bars, you won't need to use an acidic rinse or go through an adjustment period.
